Strand 2: (Topic 2.6 Politics and government)

1. Political processes                :  Online campaigning, voting, lobbying, fund-raising and advertising.
2.Government information sites : For example, travel warnings, tourist information, environmental
information and warnings, government policies, city government websites
3. Access to, and updating of, personal information held on government databases
                                                 : Collection, storage and updating of personal data: for example, driving
                                                   licence, TV licence, tax returns, passport applications and renewals,                                                                medical records, military service records, social security information, online                                                    police records.
4. Government control and use of information
                                                  : Censorship, data matching across agencies, archiving, biometric data,
                                                     national identity cards.
5. Law and order                       :  Police surveillance, terrorist monitoring, DNA data.
6. Military                                  : Cyberwarfare, smart weapons, espionage, battlefield technology

Above topics will be in discussion for next 3 weeks on monday.

ITGS presentation assessment: Digital media/Multimedia

All students of  ITGS grade 12 have present the presentation on 15th August, 2011.
Strand 3: IT systems
Topic  : 3.6 - Multimedia/Digital Media
Venue : Computer lab 3
Duration : 15 minutes for each group
Each member of the group will prepare 5 slides.

Group members are as follows:

Group 2: Ga Young, You Mi, JIn Su: ( Topics -Product Developments, Theoretical concepts)
Group 3: Chitra, Yulianto, Jerome : (Topic: Components)
Group 4: Aneshya, Peter : (Topic - Integrating the Components)

 The following criteria will be used to judge your presentation.

A - Define (explain) the IT concept
B - Describe a specific example in an area of impact
C - Discuss the advantages and disadvantages on the main stakeholders
D - Evaluate the top 3-5 ethical/social issues in order of significance 
E - Interactive, question - answer and doubts clear.

Be punctual. Report will be sent on 19th august to parents.
